Almost forgot to post this. A bit earlier images where a feturbulence was "gradient mapped", as with a previous pack.

Kaleidoscope effect is the result of cloning and clipping is used to overlap the tiles.

Revisited this old drawing.

V1nce mentioned how it could be covered by filtering.
Since it that recent sixties turbulence pack was very similar, had played around with the idea and made some wallpapers.
